This report tells us that the existing trees provide $2,770 of stormwater runoff savings by intercepting 457,929 gallons of rainfall, $4 of air quality improvement, $321 of savings through decreased energy production and sequestration of carbon dioxide, $819 of summer energy savings, and $221 of winter energy savings over the next five years. The report also shows that the most beneficial trees in terms of savings is the large oak tree on the east side of the front of the home, with $151.75 in savings for the current year. This same oak tree has also provided about $2700 in savings throughout its entire lifespan.
