RATE OF WALKABILITY TO TRANSIT STOPS
A walking time to transit of less than or equal to 5 minutes was given a high suitability level of 9+ since it it the most ideal walking time.
A walking time to transit of 5-10 minutes was also given a high suitability level of 8, since while it is longer and less ideal than a 5 minute or less walk, it is still a reasonable walking time, and it is not a long enough time to likely prevent people from visiting the site.

COMPARISON & CONCLUSION
Suitability Comparison (from Geoplanner 2)
Based on the Suitability levels data, Scenario A (Site 3) is more suitable for the development of a snail farm than Scenario B (Site 2).
Scenario A, Site 3, has its highest suitability percent in 4 Medium of 35.2% followed closely by 5 Medium with 32.7%. It also has a high level suitability percent of 7 High of 6.70%.

Scenario B, Site 2, has its highest suitability percent in 5 Medium of 68.4% followed by 4 Medium with 16.2% and 6 Medium with 15.1%. It has no percentages in the High suitability levels.

While Scenario B's highest suitability percentage is in 5 Medium, a higher suitability level than the greatest percentage in Scenario A which is in 4 Medium, it lacks any percent values in the High Suitability range, while Scenario A does not. Scenario A overall has higher suitability levels than Scenario B, again making it the better choice for snail farm development.

Walkability Rate to Transit Stops Comparison
In terms of accessibility and walkability rate to nearby transit stops, Site 3 (Scenario A) is clearly the better option over Site 2 (Scenario C).

Site 3 from Scenario A not only has more acreage withing walking distance of transit stops than Site 2, but the areas it does have within walking distance are less than 5 minutes away from transit, which is the most ideal walking time. All of the roads that are near Site 3 are all within the 0-20 minute walking distance, meaning transit stops are not far away from Site 3 no matter where you exit from the Site.

Site 2 from Scenario C has much less area than Site 3 within any reasonable walking rate to transit stops, with only 0.85% of the site area in the walking rate range. This small percentage is also a longer, not ideal walking time of 10-15 minutes to transit than the short time of <5 minutes from Site 3. There is also not currently a main roadway that can easily access this site, and adding one would be costly and require lots of complicating permitted from the local government.
CONCLUSION: Scenario A (Site 3) is the better choice for snail farm development based on this exercise

A walking time to transit of 10-15 minutes was given a medium suitability level of 5, since this walking time is long enough that some visitors will stray from visiting due to the long walking time.

A walking time to transit of 15-20 minutes was given a low suitability level of 1, since a lot of people will refrain from visiting due to the long walking time. It was not given a 0 since even though the time is long, some people will still choose to visit with the longer walking time.

Legend
The goal of this lab exercise was to find each of the two chosen sites walking times to the nearest transit stops in order to determine which site is most desirable for the development of the snail farm. A low walking time is desired since higher times will deter visitors that are traveling by local transit.
